NNA - President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday monitored the security situation along the northern-eastern border and received a series of calls from Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal, who briefed him on the measures being taken to restore calm and stability in the region.  

The president emphasized the importance of securing a ceasefire, halting attacks, and maintaining border control in the villages along the frontier.
