NNA - Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, congratulated the newly formed Lebanese government, wishing its head, Dr. Nawaf Salam, and its members all success.

He said: "We salute the efforts of His Excellency President Joseph Aoun in issuing the first government line-up during his term, and we hope that full cooperation will be a feature of the stage that requires a lot of work to resolve the many pending issues, foremost of which is ending the Israeli occupation in the south and completing the implementation of Resolution 1701."

"We also wish the new cabinet success in following up on the rescue efforts that our government has established over more than three years," Mikati added.
