NNA - Chairman of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants House Committee, MP Fadi Alameh, on Wednesday received in his office, Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Barış Ulusoy.

Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation in the region, especially in southern Lebanon.

MP Alameh handed Ambassador Ulusoy a copy of the presentation made by the Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Committee during its successive meetings with a group of ambassadors on the effects of the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

MP Alameh and the Turkish Ambassador underlined the depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries and Turkey's keenness to preserve them.

Ulusoy stressed his country’s readiness “to help Lebanon, as it has been doing in recent years."
