NNA - Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday received at his Yarzeh office, German Ambassador to Lebanon, Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried, in the presence of the German Military Attaché Lt. Col. Kai ZimmermanKAI.

Discussions reportedly touched on cooperation between the Lebanese and German armies, and support for the Lebanese military institution in light of the current exceptional situation.

General Aoun and Ambassador Stoeckl-Stillfried signed an agreement under which the German authorities finance the establishment of bread bakeries for the army.
