NNA - Caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Hajj Hassan, met during his participation in a conference organized by the United Nations in Rome, the Director General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization "FAO", Qu Dongyu.

Minister Hajj Hassan briefed Dongyu on the Ministry of Agriculture’s strategy to develop the sector in Lebanon in partnership with FAO. 

He also mentioned the projects that are implemented in joint cooperation between the ministry and the organization, in addition to the proposed projects .

For his part, FAO director confirmed his support for Lebanon. 

“Lebanon plays a central role in the Middle East region, he added.
