NNA - Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Dr. Abdallah Bou Habib, on Tuesday welcomed the United Nations’ Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) Head of Mission, Major General Patrick Gauchat, with whom he  discussed the scope of UNTSO’s work in Lebanon.

For his part, Minister Bou Habib lauded the success of UNTSO’s mission in Lebanon. 

Bou Habib separately discussed with Swiss Ambassador to Lebanon, Marion Wichelt, the renewal of UNIFIL’s mandate in South Lebanon. 

Moreover, Wichelt handedBou Habib an invitation to partake in the Global Refugee Forum 2023, which will be held in Switzerland on December 13, 2023. 

Bou Habib then met with Greek Ambassador to Lebanon, Catherine Fountoulaki, with whom he discussed Greek developments in light of the new government formation. The pair also discussed Suha Beshara’s prevention from entering Greek territories, as well as the most recent developments on the Lebanese scene.
