NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Health, Firass Abiad, participated in the conference organized by the French Development Agency, in cooperation with international health organizations and institutions, in Lyon, France, under the headline: "Sustainable Health for All".

During the conference, Abiad affirmed that "Lebanon and the Ministry of Public Health are doing everything that must be done in this context to ensure the principle of 'health for all', so that citizens and residents in the country obtain the necessary health services despite the severe financial crisis the health system is suffering from."

He also stressed that "Lebanon has never backed down from its duties," thanking international organizations for their support, and hoping that the international community would bear more responsibility in this field.
