NNA - At least 14 people were killed and dozens more injured as tornadoes and powerful storms swept across the central and southern United States, local authorities reported Saturday.

Authorities in Missouri confirmed "11 storm-related deaths" in a statement on the X platform. Three other people died in neighboring Arkansas.
