Sudan: Dozens killed and wounded in shelling of neighborhoods and Sabreen Market in Omdurman

NNA - Dozens of dead and wounded arrived today, Saturday, at Al-No Hospital in Omdurman, Sudan, following a bombing that targeted several neighborhoods and the Sabreen Market in the city located on the outskirts of the capital, Khartoum, according to "Russia Today".

A medical source said that the wounded are still arriving at the hospital after the attack attributed to the Rapid Support Forces while no official statement has yet been issued about the incident.

Yesterday, Friday, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo "Hemedti", threatened to "expel" the Sudanese army from Khartoum after the latter took control of the General Command in the center of the capital and the headquarters of the Signal Corps.

In recent days, military operations have escalated significantly in the capital, as the army was able to break the siege of the Rapid Support Forces on its command center in central Khartoum and the headquarters of the Signal Corps, which allowed the army to extend its control over the largest part of the city of Bahri.

The conflict in Sudan has led to a massive humanitarian disaster with the killing of tens of thousands and the displacement of more than 12 million people, while millions are on the brink of famine.
