NNA - We are all-confident that Lebanon will bypass this weird juncture visited upon our communities, caretaker minister of Education Gaby Layyoun, told AUST cinematographers marking World Day for Audio-Visual Heritage, at the Fidar campus-based Issam Fares Hall today.
A plethora of figures of the cinema industry were duly honoured for their outstanding achievements by the minister.
Layyoun vowed his ministry would back artistic creativity through and through in the hope that Lebanon enjoys a bright future of excellence and creativity since in his words: What binds a homeland is its patrimony and heritage; the culture of our country is in no threat because we know well how to safeguard it, he concluded.
