NNA - Rebirth Beirut is proud to host at its cultural space in Gemmayzethe first solo exhibition entitled: “Assembled Chaos” by Lara Agopian. Curated by Dr. Tony Karam, the exhibition opens on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, from 6 PM to 9 PM, and will run until February 8th, 2025, from 12 PM to 7 PM (closed on Sundays).
This captivating exhibition showcases Lara Agopian’s unique artistic voice, expressed through intricate compositions of lines and dots. Her work explores the paradox of life’s unpredictable, complex nature and its inherent harmony. Each piece transforms chaos into a space of hope, resilience, and inspiration, proving that even in the most overwhelming moments, there is always light to be found.
Gaby Fernaine, Founder and President of Rebirth Beirut, emphasizes the significance of this collaboration: "Lara’s work resonates deeply with the essence of our mission at Rebirth Beirut. Her ability to find beauty and hope within chaos mirrors our vision for this city, a vision of resilience, strength, and renewal. We are honored to host her debut solo show and support her journey as an artist."
Lara Agopian is an artist whose work reflects her global experiences and personal journey. Having lived in Los Angeles, New York City, London, and Dubai, her art draws from a rich tapestry of influences, combining storytelling, emotion, and resilience. Lara’s creative space, TIWOLAB (The Inner World of Lara Agopian’s Brain), serves as both a sanctuary and a springboard for her ongoing exploration of life’s dualities.
A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will support Rebirth Beirut’s initiatives, aligning with the organization’s mission to revive the city of Beirut.
