NNA - In a press release by the US Embassy in Beirut, it announced the 2014-2015 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program.



"This program brings accomplished mid-level professionals to the United States for a one-year, non-degree program of academic and professional opportunities in a variety of fields," release said.



"The program demonstrates the U.S. State Department's longstanding commitment to providing future leaders and policy makers with experience and opportunities to enhance their career while establishing productive ties with American counterparts," release added.



"The Humphrey Fellowship is open to Lebanese citizens and long-term Palestinian residents. It is highly competitive and addressed to the most qualified applicants in both the public and private sectors. Candidates should be between 30-50 years old with at least five years of professional experience and a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Strong English language skills are required," release concluded.
