NNA - Under the patronage of Iranian ambassador, Ghazanfar Roknabadi, the Islamic Foundation for Education - Mahdi Schools held a Persian language contest in Hadath, whereby the ambassador stressed that supporting education was the main weapon for progress and independence.


Students learning the Persian language formed a cultural bridge between Lebanon of the resistance and victory and Iran of the Islamic revolution, according to Roknabadi.


He deemed the world we lived in as based on injustice where the strong and arrogant preyed on the weak.


"Any nation that respects itself, its existence and the future of its generations would not rise without counting on God, its people and capabilities, particularly fortifying education for it is the most durable weapon for progress."
