NNA - Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon, Colette Taquet, inaugurated Wednesday the fifth cultural week of Ein Ibl's St. Joseph High School of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts, attended by General Head of the Order of Sisters Daniella Harrouq, Maronite Perish of Tyre Bishop Shukrallah Nabil Hajj, and scores of local social, educational, security, and military dignitaries.



In her delivered word, Ambassador Taquet hailed deeply rooted Lebanese-Belgian relations, describing relations between the two peoples as "sustainable from one generation to another."



Taquet commended Belgian Contingent's role within its participation in UNIFIL in consecrating stability and security in this part of south Lebanon. Taquet noted that such calm is crucially needed by young students, regardless of their diversity, to grow in an area where they build up sincere fraternal relations among themselves, the matter that contributes to the development of their region on the basis of respect and diversity.
