NNA – Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph, on Friday Aoun met Günter Sautter, Director General for International Order, the United Nations and Arms Control in the Federal Foreign Office. The meeting, which was also attended by German Ambassador to Lebanon, Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried, focused on ways to support the Lebanese army and continue the assistance program, particularly for the naval forces.

Additionally, General Aoun received Iraqi National Security Chief Abdul Karim al-Jabri al-Basri, who led a delegation for talks. The discussions centered on enhancing security coordination between the Iraqi and Lebanese armies.
