NNA - Future Parliamentary bloc MP, Hadi Hbeish, on Monday heaped praise on efforts by the Internal Security Forces Information Branch, saying that the assassination of late chief, Wissam Hassan, has failed to hinder the work of this institution.
Speaking through "Future Television" the MP said that the Information Branch, led by Brigadier Imad Othman, has proven to be following the footsteps of late Hassan, especially now that major clues have surfaced regarding those behind Tripoli's twin bombings.
He said that those who planted Beirut Southern Suburbs bomb were the same ones that planted Tripoli bombs.
"They aim to spark strife among the Lebanese and drag Lebanon into Sunni-Shiite strife," he added.
