NNA - The Lebanese Army - Directorate of Orientation on Wednesday issued the following statement:  

"In light of recent events along the Lebanese-Syrian border and following coordination between Lebanese and Syrian authorities to prevent further escalation, army units have begun implementing security measures in the Hosh Al-Sayyed Ali - Hermel area. These measures include patrol deployments to maintain security and stability along the border region."
