NNA - At the 76th Indian National Day celebration organized by the Indian Embassy, in collaboration with the Safadi Cultural Center and Elite Center for Culture and Education, Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Muhammad Noor Rahman Sheikh, praised the strong historical ties between Lebanon and India.

The Indian diplomat highlighted the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations and India’s consistent support for Lebanon, including its contribution to UNIFIL and aid in the form of medicine. 

The Ambassador further emphasized India’s commitment to ongoing humanitarian projects in Lebanon, such as the upcoming camp for fitting prosthetics for 500 Lebanese citizens. 

The Indian Ambassador finally reaffirmed India's role in strengthening Lebanon’s future development and cooperation.
