NNA - President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Friday welcomed Egyptian Foreign Minister, 

Badr Abdelatty, at Baabda Presidential Palace.  

President Aoun also welcomed Samir Assaf, who congratulated him on his election.  

In addition, President Aoun discussed the latest developments in southern Lebanon with Acting Army Commander General, Hassan Awada, and Intelligence Director Brigadier General, Tony Khoury.  

Furthermore, President Aoun received a congratulatory phone call from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who congratulated him on his election and discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the situation in Ukraine.
