NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ali Hamieh, on Thursday welcomed in his office at the ministry, Member of Parliament Tony Frangieh, with whom he broached the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

Discussions between the pair also touched on developmental dossiers relevant to the ministry, especially those related to the maintenance of roads and highways within the jurisdiction of the ministry, particularly in the Zgharta District.

Caretaker Minister Hamieh stressed that "maintenance work on highways and roads within the jurisdiction of the ministry is a priority," indicating that "the priority criterion for the condition of these roads will be the basis for completing the work on them in all Lebanese regions, including in the Zgharta District."
