NNA - The Defense attorney of the victims of the Beirut 2005 bombing confirmed, before the Special Tribunal for Lebanon of Friday, that the damaged parties were fully entitled to participate in the trial of the accused.



"The victims are of different nationalities and have various political and religious affiliations. It is clear enough that the bombings do not respect any religion," lawyer Peter Haynes said in his intervention during STL's trial session in The Hague.
