NNA - Accused Mustapha Badreddine's Defense Attorney, Antoine Korkomaz, said that he prefers- as lawyers- to desist from commenting on the case before fully hearing the claims, saying "prosecution judges did not provide anything new."



"All what they [prosecution judges] said on the issue of phone communications and the Mitsubishi van are matters known long time ago," Korkomaz told the National News Agency (NNA) on Friday at the Hague.



"We, as defense lawyers' team, do not agree on the procedures of the trial of the accused Hassan Habib Merhi," Korkomaz said, wondering about the decision of the Attorney General to prosecute Merhi whilst his lawyers did not yet receive the file for his defense.



"We asked them to add Merhi's case to the main dossier and to accord time for Merhi's lawyers to study the file and thus carry out their defense duty," Korkomaz said.
