NNA - "Future" parliamentary bloc head, Fouad Siniora, condemned the assassination of the Muslim Scholars' committee member, Sheikh Saad Eddine Ghieh, rejecting acts of killing and violence.



"We denounce and refuse the assassination crime against Sheikh Saad Eddine Ghieh. The security authorities must carry out a haste investigation to disclose the motives and background of this crime, the people who stood behind it, and those who carried it out to arrest them," Siniora said in a statement on Wednesday.



Siniora confirmed, in his name and on behalf of his Deputy colleagues, the denunciation of any assassination operation against any citizen, saying that this criminal style is unacceptable under any circumstances.



Siniora concluded by paying condolences to Ghieh's parents and family.
