NNA - Former Minister Elias Murr, freshly named as Head of the Interpol Fund for a Safer World, returned Wednesday in Beirut coming from Geneva, aboard a private jet, where he'd been to assume his new post.



Last week, Ronald K. Noble, the secretary-general of Interpol, sent a letter to caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati informing him of the executive committee's unanimous appointment of Murr as the head of the Interpol Fund for a Safer World for the next seven years.
