NNA - "Kataeb" bloc member, Deputy Elie Marouni, stressed on Monday the need to form a de facto Cabinet to manage the country's affairs.
"After spending a lot of time discussing the form of the new Cabinet, it is high time for President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister-designate, Tammam Salam, to form a de facto Cabinet amid the security, political and economic deterioration in order to handle the citizens' and country's affairs" the MP told the "Voice of Lebanon" radio.
The Deputy asserted that there was no progress so far concerning Cabinet formation due to the preconditions which were set before the PM-designate, asking concerned sides to speed up the formation process.
Commenting on Deputy Walid Jumblatt's proposal (9-9-6 ministers), Marouni emphasized that it was rejected by the President, PM and all the political factions," he confirmed.
