NNA - MP Michel Aoun said "there are certain sides that speak about cabinet formation as if they have the right to form a cabinet without resorting to parliamentary consultations." Aoun explained that the norms and traditions must be respected in the formation process.
Aoun's fresh stance came Tuesday in the context of a regular meeting for the Bloc of Reform and Change at his residence in Rabieh.
Aoun referred the failure to form cabinet to unconstitutional and illegal conditions set by the newly appointed Prime Minister, Tammam Salam, in this concern.
The General explained that any formation of government should be the outcome of parliamentary deliberations as well as the will of Lebanese President and Prime Minister to set up said government.
He disclosed the Bloc of Reform and Change's intention to hold a meeting on October 11, 2013, in Deir Qalaa to dwell on constant headlines and present accomplished goals.
