Marouni: Hezbollah's land based network will never pass

NNA - Hezbollah's land-based phone network will never pass through Zahleh, Kataeb MP Elie Marouni vowed during an interview due to appear in tomorrow's Al-Liwa' daily news paper edition. All of the people of Zahleh went out in protest against Aoun-backed Nasrallah statelet, he added. Aoun himself effectively gave up on Lebanese sovereignty and dignity when he decided to become Hezbollah's mere mouthpiece, Marouni went on.

With respect to Kataeb alliances in Zahleh, the deputy designated Nicolas Fattoush and Elie Skaf as 2 sides of the same Hezbollah coin with whom it's practically difficult to do any business. Hezbollah's non - resistant posture started with weapons eventually pointed by Nasrallah against Syrians in Damascus and Quseir in defense of Bashar's regime.

Kataeb party favours any national dialogue sponsored by President Michel Sleiman rather than Nabih Berri, he retorted. All political factions remain meanwhile committed to the Baabda Declaration with the exception of Hezbollah which engages militarily on the side of the Iranian/Syrian regimes exacting thus a pretty much heavy price on the majority of the Lebanese, Marouni concluded.
