NNA - Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adnan Mansour, met today (Wednesday) with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, Derek Plumbly .
Discussions reportedly tackled the ongoing preparations for the meeting which will be held in New York on 25 September to support Lebanon face the negative repercussions of the Syrian Crisis, mainly the displaced Syrians' issue.
These talks are to take place on the margin of the meetings of the UN General Assembly.
It is to note that UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon called for this meeting in New York, and it is expected that it would witness high level participation from the UN, European Union Arab League, United States, Russia and other countries.
Then after, Mansour met with Columbia Ambassadress to Lebanon Georgina Mallat.
