NNA - Outgoing Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Thursday held a press conference in Tripoli, after a tour in the city, whereby he announced that he will soon be launching an initiative to rescue Lebanon.
Mikati stressed the need to form a government as soon as possible, emphasizing the importance of dialogue.
"There was a consensus over all the items of the Baabda declaration," he pointed out.
In response to the media campaign which targeted him recently, Mikati said he will follow the legal and judicial path, uttering keenness on protecting freedoms.
"Some red lines can never be crossed," he said in this regard.
