NNA - We prompt the Lebanese to dissociate themselves from problems surrounding them, Brazilian ambassador to Lebanon Alfonso Emilio D' alencastro Massot announced on Brazil's 192nd national Day at Reehaniyyeh/Baabda day.



We deplore any intervention in Syria deemed in clear contravention to the Charter of the United Nations and, we also condemn the deployment of chemical weapons the ambassador exclaimed before a host of senior officials including caretaker minister of Information Walid Daouk today.



Massot highly praised Brazilian-Lebanese relations regarding them as exemplary with over than 10 million Brazilians of Lebanese extraction contributing their share in developing the Latin American nation and in multiple spheres. Neutrality is the best panacea for Lebanon's peace, the ambassador concluded.
