NNA - Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, MP Talal Arslan, said Friday if Syria is stricken as menaced by the US and its allies, the world and regional peace and stability will be shaken, calling local parties to avoid wagering on the West calculus only serving Israel.



"Terrorism in our time has become international par excellence, with some great states adopting organized terrorist policies to threaten less important countries," the Deputy said in a statement.



"This is what is now happening through the US direct threat to stage military attack on Syria, hence flouting the states' freedom and independence, and violation UN rules and human rights," he added.
