NNA - The Head of the Economic Bodies, former minister Adnan Qassar vowed at a press conference held Wednesday that escalatory measures will be adopted if a government is not formed anytime soon.
"Having a government has become an urgent demand amid the surrounding dangers," he said, calling on politicians to put aside their personal interests and resort to dialogue with one aim in mind: solving the country's crises, hence bringing Lebanon safe to shore.
"The success of today's strike confirms that we are right and that we have expressed the demands of all the Lebanese," Qassar added, assuring that the strike was not aimed at hampering the State but came out of keenness on national interests.
