NNA - Caretaker Minister of Tourism, Fadi Abboud, on Thursday saw that the possibility to expand the prerogatives of the current cabinet was farfetched.
Speaking to the Voice of Lebanon radio station, he implored the caretaking cabinet to fittingly handle all impending issues.
"Things have reached an extent where the economic bodies have threatened to halt their activities if no cabinet is swiftly formed," he added, deeming the cabinet formation issue as linked to a decision by the KSA and Iran.
As for the growing influx of Syrian refugees into Lebanon, the Minister regretted that the Lebanese state could not assess beforehand the number of refugees that enter Lebanon on daily basis, so as to ensure appropriate places for them to stay and all what's required to provide them with a decent life.
