NNA - Member of Liberation and Growth parliamentary bloc, MP Yassine Jaber, deplored Saturday the terrorist attack that hit Tripoli yesterday, urging unity among all Lebanese and calling on political factions to realize the gravity of the situation which demanded that they came together over national dialogue.
Jaber contended that the same criminals who attacked Ruwais over a week ago assaulted Tripoli in an attempt to cause domestic strife.
"We will not allow this, we will not allow terrorism to achieve its goals, and we will continue to adhere to national unity, common living, and civil peace."
The means to defeat this sedition project is by way of patience and transcending wounds, according to Jaber. He offered his condolences to the families of those killed in the blasts, and wished a speedy recovery to over 500 wounded.
"We must rally around the state and its institutions, primarily the army and security forces so they fend off dangers."
The MP urged the army to strike with an iron fist at anyone who even thinks of messing with Lebanon's stability in any region.
