NNA - Intensive shelling has been registered for sometime Thursday evening from the Syrian side in the direction of the village of Hokr Jenin on the Lebanese side of the Great River Bank, NNA field correspondent in Akkar reported.


Open fire has targeted civilian residences within the vicinity; thus, preventing families from leaving their homes to seek shelter elsewhere, NNA correspondent added.
