NNA - Outgoing Premier Najib Mikati chaired on Tuesday a security meeting at the Grand Serail in presence of Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel and other concerned officials.
Minister Charbel said after the meeting that all rumors spread about the renewal of the security incidents in Tripoli after the Eid, were untrue.
"Security forces were in readiness to preserve security," he affirmed.
Mikati met afterwards with the caretaker Social Affairs Minister Wael Abou Faour with whom he tackled the Syrian refugees' issue in Lebanon.
Outgoin Premier also received caretaker Economy Minister, Nicolas Nahhas, and discussed with him the EU aids in Lebanon, in presence of the Development and Reconstruction head Nabil Jeser.
Lastly, Mikati met with the World Bank regional director ang the Lebanese Ambassador to Ghana Ali Halabi.
