NNA - Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid Moallem, said Monday the violent events in the city of Sidon in South Lebanon were very dangerous, indicating that Syria has already warned of the reverberations of the Syrian crisis on neighboring countries.



He hoped the Lebanese army would manage to win the battle against "terrorists."



"What happened and is still happening in Sidon is very dangerous (...) We have repeatedly called Lebanon to control borders to preserve its and our safety," Moallem told a news conference in Damascus today.



"I do not want to interfere in the Lebanese affairs. Lebanon's leaders know better the mistakes they have committed in the case of armed terrorist groups on the Lebanese soil," he said.
