NNA - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in caretaker government, Adnan Mansour, met Saturday with Iran's ambassador Ghazanfar Roknabadi, who said after the meeting that he delivered a written message to Mansour from his Iranian counterpart, Ali Akbar Salehi, on the anniversary of resistance and liberation.


The care-taker Minister also received an official invitation to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran, and promised to travel to Iran the soonest possible.


"We talked about developments on the regional and international arenas and the prospects for cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon, and we focused on the developments in Syria and confirmed our position to stand by Lebanon and all the Lebanese," said the ambassador.
