NNA - National Liberal Party Head Dory Chamoun said if no progress was made soon, it would be impossible to ratify a new electoral law.
"March 8 does not want the elections to take place. All it wants is vacuum in the country," he accusingly said.
Chamoun added that the hybrid law which earned the approval of the Lebanese Forces the Future and the Progressive Socialist Party needed further clarification.
Stressing the need to respect constitutional deadlines, Chamoun said despite all the negative aspects of the 60s law, it remains better than having to face vacuum.
