NNA - The United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, will meet Russia's Vladimir Putin Friday in the Black Sea city of Sochi, amid intensified diplomatic efforts to solve the Syrian crisis, the Kremlin announced on Thursday.



This meeting will take place within the frame of the UN Chief's Russia visit from May 16 till 19.



Ban has earlier told an interview today that Russia would be on his talks' schedule.
