NNA - Member of Liberation and Development parliamentary bloc, Ayoub Homayed, censured Sunday the Israeli raids against Syria.



Homayed said at a ceremony held at Ghazieh that the aggression by Israel against Syria is a direct intersection between the Israeli enemy and enemies of Syria domestically and some Arabs.


"What took place in Syria confirms the fact that the objective behind the event was not to achieve reform and freedom, but to destroy Syria and cripple its resistant role in the region," he explained.


He sharply criticized the latest Arab initiative with Israel, calling it similar to the Balfour Declaration, which would undermine what remains of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people's rights.



According to the MP, the Amal movement sought after preserving Lebanon's unity. The movement wanted to ensure that the country remained away from the impact of regional crises.
