NNA - Member of Parliament, Khaled Zahraman, on Tuesday told the "Voice of Lebanon" radio that all attempts to approve a consensual electoral law had been in vain.
According to the Future Parliamentary bloc MP, Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement are always sticking to their positions, "a thing which highlights their refusal to hold legislative elections."
In the same context, the lawmaker expressed concern vis-à-vis long-term extension of the House of Parliament's mandate .
"Let us form a government that would be able to organize the law, while approving a consensual electoral law and a fixed technical extension of the parliament's mandate," he concluded.
