NNA - The Families of the Lebanese abductees in Azaz, Syria, staged on Monday morning a sit-in in front of the Turkish Airlines Offices in Azarieh building in Beirut Down Town, according to NNA correspondent.
The Protesters closed the building of the Turkish Cultural Center in Beirut Down Town and the road in front of it and set a tent.
These actions came as a result of the Turkish authorities' procrastination in seeking the release of the abductees, protestors said.
The protestors called upon President of the Republic Michel Sleiman to summon the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon and urge him to haste the pace to find a solution for this issue, threatening of closing the air-port road if a solution was not found within 48 hours.
It is to note that the eleven Shiite pilgrims were abducted in Azaz, a rural Aleppo region in Syria, while returning from Iran 10 months ago.
