NNA - "Change and Reform" bloc member Deputy Salim Salhab stressed that his bloc's priority is to reach agreement on a new election law hold the upcoming elections on time, describing what is happening on the political scene as "a maneuver" to name the Prime Minister.
"The country's interest is more important than the interest of a certain person," Salhab told "Voice of Lebanon" radio on Wednesday.
The MP said that it would be possible to overcome the tension between FPM and PSP after Deputy Walid Jumblatt has placed high ceiling to his dialogues and expressed willingness to sit together with all political parties to carry out consultations if they have the intention to do that.
The MP said that there are some common points with March 14 forces, particularly on the elections, the deadline of the technical postponement and the rejection of extending the term of the House of Representatives more than necessary.
