NNA - President of the Republic Michel Sleiman and the accompanying delegation returned from Doha after their participation in the 24th Arab League summit during which the President delivered Lebanon's word and formally met with a number of Arab officials, according to the NNA correspondent.
Shortly before his return to Lebanon, President Sleiman held a meeting with Qatari prince, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani with whom he tackled means to reactivate bilateral ties and cooperation fields.
The pair also discussed the conditions of the Lebanese expats in Qatar as well as in all the GCC member states.
Sleiman asked Prince Hamad, as head of the Arab summit, to exert all possible efforts so as to speed up the release of the Lebanese kidnapped in Syria and ensure their return safe and sound to their country.
