NNA - "Future Bloc" member Deputy Ammar Houry said that there are constitutional mechanisms that should not be bypassed in the Cabinet's issue.
"We should not go to dialogue to discuss a subject of clear constitutional bases, duly, there are obligatory consultations which the President should conduct to nominate the Prime Minister in charge," he added.
Commenting on the electoral law, he called on all sides to exert efforts to reach a law that would satisfy all the Lebanese.
Houry told "Free Lebanon" radio on Wednesday that the security situation is critical and vacancy in some positions may lead to the worse.
"As result of the shaky security situation and the inability of the political authorities to achieve appointments, we have demanded to raise the retirement age of the security leaders," he said, rejecting the presence of any connection between this file and that of the election law.
