NNA - All indications show major difficulties ahead in forming a new cabinet, outgoing minister of Tourism Fadi Abboud told Communist party-run radio Sawt ash-Shaab (voice of the People) today.



Abboud predicated any feasible government-formation on drafting the new electoral law. He disclosed that Mikati's resignation was expected since a couple of months ago and that extending Reefi's mandate merited no such big fuss.



The care-taker minister perceived no harm in technically putting off the elections albeit, he did not rule out total 'undermining" of the elections altogether.



On the current security situation, Abboud expressed confidence in the army and security saying they have things firmly under control.
