NNA - "Liberation of Development" Parliamentary bloc member Deputy Ali Khreis said that the whole region is passing through a difficult critical period, warning that some parties are seeking to stir sectarian strife in Lebanon.



Speaking during a memorial in Borj Rahhal village, the Deputy condemned the regretful incident that happened Sunday evening against the four sheikhs.



He said it was not the only incident to provoke strife, pointing out that some parties have been working for a long time to raise such sectarian strife between Shiite and Sunnite .



Khreis called upon the judiciary authorities to "perform its role", criticizing the actions of "closing roads" and praising the rational role of the Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Qabbani.



Commenting on the issue of the elections, Khreis said that the 1960 law is dead, saying "we have to find a law that meets the concerns of all parties".



" We will continue working for unity," Khreis said.
