NNA - The Future Bloc called upon the cabinet to refer the case pertaining to the attack against four Muslim Sheikhs in Beirut last Sunday to the judicial council, as "it is an action that threats civil peace."



The Future Bloc convened Tuesday in the context of its regular weekly meeting, under the chairmanship of former PM Fouad Siniora, at the Center House of Beirut.



The Future blamed the current government for the chaotic security condition, especially that "such government backs the presence of weapons outside the context of legitimacy."



The Future said that the attack on Sheikhs "shows that it was committed by a side which aims to export its crisis to Lebanon and which has already had its destabilization attempts foiled and unveiled."



The Future addressed Lebanese to beware of conspiracies concocted for the purpose of flaring up strife in the country and targeting national unity.



Turning to the parliamentary elections issue, the Future reiterated adherence to its earlier stance of the necessity for elections to take place on their due date, on the basis of a law abiding by the Constitution and not in the least tampering with the coexistence principle.
