NNA - "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc member Deputy Kamel Rifai called on different political sides to find a balanced law that would preserve the rights of everyone, because "Lebanon is a consensual country and cannot live without consensus".
"The victory of one team over the other is rejected in Lebanon," the MP told "Fajr" radio on Wednesday.
Moreover, he confirmed that everyone agreed that 1960 law has fallen because it was imposed on the Lebanese for one cycle, pointing that the Orthodox bill will not pass because a large segment of the Lebanese have rejected it.
The MP accused the Gulf States of exercising economic pressure on Lebanon so that Hezbollah would take a negative attitude on the crisis in Syria.
"Hezbollah is keen not to intervene militarily in Syria," he confirmed.
